Pink Mountaintops have announced that they will return on April 28th with a new record titled Get Back. Stephen McBean left his project to sit for dormant for almost four years before reviving it in his new home of Los Angeles, California. It's the kind of band that a billion people have already been in, and the new record will pull in an insane list of musicians and guest appearances including J Mascis, (Dinosaur Jr.), Rob Barbato (Darker My Love, The Fall, Cass McCombs), Steve Kille (Dead Meadow), Daniel Allaire (Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Gregg Foreman (Cat Power, Delta 72). You can stream new track 'North Hollywood Microwaves', a careless sloppy rock and roll with rusty sax solos and a long spoken outro from Giant Drag's Annie Hardy that I guess you can sort of call a rap.

Get Back will be released by Jagjaguwar on the 28th of April Europe and the 29th in the US.
