Back in October, we shared 'Parades I & II' by Rocheman, a track created for new NX Records compilation, Crossing Lines III. It's out today, 20th November, and we're happy to be streaming the collection of forward-thinking music in its entirety below.

"NX’s ethos is to create a new model for the music industry, connecting the exciting talent from the renowned creative hub of Goldsmiths with the equally innovative Accidental Records," explains Ruth Woodward, label manager for NX Records. "The aim is to build a connection between the industry, education and DIY/emerging artists; it’s a professional label that recognises and works alongside the growing power of the ‘DIY' artist and that’s pretty exciting."

That DIY way of thinking in music has also shown itself in physical form: the release of Cossing Lines III (as with that of I and II) was accompanied by the NX Records Pop Up Record Shop at 310 New Cross Road, open from 9th to 31st October. There will in addition be a release party for the compilation on 29th November.

"Our Crossing Lines series gives these artists an opportunity to release with us alongside a group of other artists in similar positions and gives us the chance to show the world the incredible array of talent coming out of South East London every year," Woodward continued. "We’re really thrilled to be collaborating further with another exciting South East London initiative, DIY Space for London, for our release party on the 29th of November as well featuring three of this year’s new compilation artists: Slow Moon, Rocheman and Le Son."
