Opening up with a scattered trail of glittery synth that is as sharp as it is wonky, this is Swedish band Kate Boy's latest track 'Open Fire'.

It's a stuttering low-key rave, shot with scratchy phasing synths that are as fluid as they are abrasive, founded on a bouncing offbeat, rattling with sounds like a clattering engine later on and decorated with the voice of singer, Australian Kate Arkhust, who injects the track with pop infectiousness into the crunchy noise-electro sounds courtesy of the actual Swedish part of the band, Hampus Nordgren Hemlin and Markus Dextegen.

This single will be released on 8th December via Fiction Records.
