Tommy Paxton-Beesley, aka River Tiber, is taking Toronto's sound into new directions. The Berklee College alumni has been self-releasing music through Soundcloud for the better part of two years. He might not be on your radar just yet but he's probably already worked with some of your favourite 6'ers including Partynextdoor as well as those coming from a little further afield such as Travi$ Scott, Frank Dukes and Wondagurl. He even played parts on BADBADNOTGOOD and Ghostface Killah's Sour Soul album. However, he's probably earned much of his attention from appearing on Drake's surprise release If You're Reading This, It's Too Late where Drake sampled his track 'No Talk' on 'No Tellin''.

For Paxton-Beesley's latest release entitled When The Time Is Right, 'No Telling' acts as the EP's opener while the remaining four tracks are dark, murky, R&B-tingled, '90s flavoured heartbreakers. Together, it's a rich and rather fulfilling experience especially found on the EP's centrepiece 'Let You Go'. It's late-night R&B at its best, streaming now via Soundcloud.
