Hailing from the southwestern French city of Bordeaux, Thoineau Palis - aka TH Da Freak - has just released his sophomore album The Hood, a lo-fi '90s-scented gem we're proud to stream in full at The 405 today.

From the opener 'Old Ladies Of The Blocks' to 'I Was Such An Idiot', Palis offers us a cohesive bouquet of sounds that might send your travelling back to Seattle in the early grunge heydays while maintaining a contemporary and fresh approach that allows us to file the album somewhere between Jackson Scott's Melbourne and Mac DeMarco's Salad Days.

The Hood is out today (February 16th) via Howlin Banana Records. Stream it in full below and discover a new addiction.
