This whole "dark-pop" thing that seems to be all the rage lately, if done well, can be pretty fantastic and soothing. That's where Chicago's Empires come into play, then, with their latest single 'How Good Does It Feel?' Hint: it feels (or sounds, anyway) pretty fantastic. Their sound is a lovechild of more cheery The Airborne Toxic Event tracks and The National with a bit of the Editors thrown in there for good measure.
