The title track to Tyburn Saints' new LP With The Night In Our Eyes touched an exposed nerve. The jumpy, goth rock callback was a welcoming sound that didn't seem to be stuck in the wrong decade, but rather wonderfully carving a path from it.

For the record, which is available in a full exclusive stream below, the Brooklyn band tabbed celebrated producer Guy Massey, who's previous projects included remastering classic Beatles and Paul McCartney albums, as well as Depeche Mode and Spiritualized. Those aspirations may be a bit lofty for anyone, never mind a band still finding its relative footing, but Massey and the group seemed to channel something special on With The Night In Our Eyes, refining the band's wondrous post-punk energy.
