Multi-talented vocalist/mc/DJ Suki Bedeaux's mixtape careens from drrrty electro to grime via dancehall, and it's a damn fine listen. Grab it from here and pop it on whilst you read on below.

What have been your proudest/coolest moments of 2011?

This year has been really cool through out. My highlights would have to be starting my radio show on Nasty Fm at the beginning of the year, and winning the DJ Battle at Rock The Belles. When Jammer and C Gritz from Boy Better Know came to Playtime and MC'ed on my DJ set that was an ultimate DJgasm too. Putting together & releasing my first mixtape is my proudest moment right now and a bonus end to the year.

Can you tell us a bit about the mixtape? How did you pull the tracks together and what does it mean to you?

I made the Booom! Mixtape as an introduction to me as an artist. I wanted to put all of my musical skills on one record. My vocals, my productions some remixes and my DJ bootleg side.

What are your plans for 2012?

My plans for 2012 are to have some official releases and more collaborations. I'll also be recording with my sisters again for The Real Heat material and I'm launching a Fashion range its gonna be ridiculous!

There are an awful lot of high quality free underground/UK grime/electro mixtapes doing the rounds at the moment. What are your thoughts on the trend and in what way do you expect to publish your future work?

Yeah there's a lot of sick music coming from the UK in general right now. From the underground to major artists like Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, Donaeo, Skepta, Xo Man, Mz Bratt, Professor Green, A Dot the list goes on. As for how I'm gonna push my music in the future; I'm gonna be releasing music on Real Hot, the label I co-run with Shaki & Zaza and any labels that want to release my music too.
