Skott has shared the arresting visual accompaniment to ‘Stay Off My Mind’, the lead single from her new EP of the same name. Sitting somewhere between a wildheart bike gang leader and a Scandi-Lana Del Rey seductress, Skott is creating a strong sense of character with every release.

Speaking of the track, she comments: “Ultimately it’s a song about missing someone so much that you're almost living more in the past than in the present. It's bittersweet because we can have such fond memories, but life goes on and sometimes having flashbacks can keep you from moving on.”

“The video was supposed to be shot in London, but things were a little rushed... When I got home, I realized we didn't have enough footage to make the original video work, so I called up two friends, last minute at 2 in the morning, and we shot a few scenes in my bedroom; these shots kind of became the main theme of the video.”

'Stay Off My Mind' is from Skott's new EP, available to stream now. Produced by Skott’s long-term collaborators in Stockholm (Agrin Rahmani, Theo Ekblom and Christian Nilsson) and mixed by Anders Hvenare (Miike Snow, Niki & The Dove, Tove Styrke), the EP showcases a playful new direction and acts as a very welcome return from this innovative young Swedish musician.
