Synthy and direct (it spans just under two minutes), Tame Impala's new track 'Disciples' is rather uncharacteristic of Kevin Parkes and Co.'s usual sound. Although it seems situated in the same ethereal universe the Australian psych-rockers have constructed for themselves, its brevity and light-headedness places it at a late '70s/early '80s summer pool party where someone has spiked your drink.

The track was premiered during a Reddit AMA with Kevin Parker. It's from their forthcoming new album, Currents.
