Los Angeles-based dream pop trio Tashaki Miyaki are releasing their debut 7" Cool Runnings today through their own Blonde Dog label. Now they're sharing the B-side to that 7", a lovely track titled "There Was A Light", a Chris Bell cover. It's a slow, dreamy track that floats on by with its well-placed string arrangements and a quiet solitude, before the guitar solo kicks in re-energizing the entire song. They're working with longtime collaborator and artist Juan Iglesias on a video for 'Cool Runnings', which will be out soon.

If you're interested in seeing them live, they'll be playing their fair share of shows at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
