Tennis have got a new single lined-up for next month, dropping their beautiful take on 60s-esque indie pop just in time for summer.

Released 28th May on ATP Recordings, the double A-side 'My Better Self' / 'Petition' is the second single to drop from the band's sophomore record, Young & Old.

'My Better Self' is a whimsical, fluttery, sky-high piece of pop, whereas 'Petition' is a livelier, punchier, borderline rock'n'roll jam full of sing-along whoa's.

Released both on 7" and digitally, each version comes backed with the band's recently recorded cover of The Zombies' 'Tell Her No'. The digital version will also include a cover of 'Tears in the Typing Pool' (originally by Broadcast) and 'Is It True?' (Brenda Lee).

You can cash in for the 7" now over at the ATP store, and check out Tennis' upcoming live dates below (which includes a slot at ATP's forthcoming I'll Be Your Mirror festival!)
