Name: Graeme John Douglas Ronald

About me: Absent minded Scottish manchild / Composer and Sound Maker in Remember Remember. I have played in too many bands to mention since I was 15, perhaps that's why I want to use so many instruments nowadays.

Listening to: Rhys Catham's 'A Crimson Grail for 400 guitars' and Goblin's 'Suspiria' soundtrack have been on heavy rotation.  I was recently introduced to the 'Ethiopiques' compilation series of Ethiopian pop and instrumental music, and as a result have gotten really into the wonderful Mulatu Astatke.  Live, we've been lucky enough to share bills a couple of times with the most excellent Ben Butler and Mousepad.

Reading:'Lanark' by Alasdair Gray and our guitarist Joe's Burrito Blog (http://glasgowmegaburrito.blogspot.com/).

Watching: Andy from the band introduced me to Orson Welles's 'F For Fake' a while back, which is a deconstructionist masterpiece. I also really enjoyed 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' with Zach Galifianakis. Speaking of Zach Galifianakis, I thought 'Bored to Death' with him and that pretty boy Jason Schwartzman was great too.

Playing: I am hopelessly addicted to Fruit Ninja for Android. I officially lost interest in computer games in 1992, after that they started getting too real. However, mobile phone gaming seems to have ushered in a new golden era of simplistic yet intensely addictive games on a par with the likes of Tetris.

Eating: While my bandmates and, it seems, half of Glasgow are currently in the thrall of an almost religious devotion to Mexican Burritos, I have been attempting to perfect convincing home-made Japanese food, sushi and gyoza mostly. Fast food wise I recently had my first Lambuchun and was introduced in Aberdeen to the hitherto unexplored combination of chips and bolognese.

Promo Info: Remember Remember's second album The Quickening is released on Monday the 26th of September with launch parties in Glasgow's Stereo on the 24th and Newcastle's The Cluny on the 25th.
