Over the past several months there has been a mention here and there of the 405 working on a charity album. I am now proud to announce officially that this is very much a fact. For a while now a select few of us have been working as a team, approaching musicians and asking them for their contributions to put together an album in aid of the charity, Invisible Children, which will be available for download on 21st November Invisible Children is an organisation that originated from a documentary, made by a group of individuals based in America who visited Uganda, Africa, and were moved by the toll that the country's history of poverty, war and exploitation had taken on its children; particularly those who had been drafted and forced to fight as child soldiers. Ever since then, Invisible Children have been looking for contributors to help them improve the lives of the children of Uganda, by working to rehabilitate those affected by the country’s conflicts and establish safe communities for them. The 405 are one of the latest groups to offer their support to this wonderful charity. The following bands have donated to us material that is brand new, unreleased or alternative versions of their songs: Little Glitches Secret Moves A Silent Film Adam Gnade Data Select Party Phantom Jeremy Warmsley Red Room Zoey Van Goey The O’Darling Mimas Venomous Watch out for more features on the album, including profiles on each band and their tracks, and details of the release.
