On this special episode of the podcast, we share a conversation with Dave Eggers (author of The Circle, A Heart Breaking World of Staggering Genius, What Is The What) regarding his fundraising initiative, Setlists For Young Voices. Joined by Nick Hornby and Michael Chabon, the trio have amassed an impressive collection of setlists for an auction benefitting youth writing and activism centers, including London’s Ministry of Stories and The International Congress of Youth Voices.

You’ll be able to bid for setlists from the likes of The Who, R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails, Patti Smith, Janelle Monae, Death Cab For Cute, Wilco, Mitski, Noname, and many more. On this episode, Dave Eggers shares how the initiative came to be, and the special connection music has around the world.

Be sure to head here for the auction, which starts on April 22nd and ends on May 2nd, 7PM (Pacific)

“Each setlist is so expressive of that particular musician.”
