Some of the best art reflects not what we experience, but rather reflects our pure imagination. The golden middle ground is when you can meld the two, which is what Sweden’s Frida Sundemo excels at with her songwriting. But it’s not just music that Frida delves into, she’s also an accomplished actress and an avid lover/curator of visual art. Her latest album, Flashbacks and Futures, is the combination of all that she loves. To experience one of her songs is to be fully immersed in her passions. Ken Grand-Pierre linked up with Frida in New York to discuss the importance of art and what it means to her.

“I just knew that was how I wanted to present myself.”
