There’s probably an old adage written about how the most poignant stories come from the unlikeliest of narrators. Take J.S. Ondara for example, a man born in Nairobi, Kenya whose debut album, Tales of America, has truly captured the spirit of the American Dream. A lover of folk, Ondara has studied the genre, allowing him to utilize the bedrock of folk storytelling to share a timeless story of being in America, and chasing that ever-elusive dream.
