A band deciding to change their sound is nothing new, but in the case of Deaf Havana... it’s pretty dramatic. Enter their new album Rituals - it finds the band veering as close to pop as they ever been. It’s confused many, but it’s also been embraced by hardcore fans and newcomers alike. A few weeks back, Ken Grand-Pierre caught up with James Veck-Gilodi to talk about how the album came to be and why it was crucial to make.
