Picture this: world-renowned DJ with a nice smile and even nicer haircut. You see that and automatically think “yeah, that guy is living the life” and to some degree, you’d be right. But naturally, our perceptions don’t give us the whole picture, which is indeed the case with Norwegian DJ Matoma.

He recently released a new album titled One In A Million, along with a documentary of the same name. The documentary goes more into Tom, rather than Matoma, and with that, we get to experience how wild this world is from the eyes of a deeply genuine guy.

Ken Grand-Pierre linked up with Matoma at Terminal 5 to discuss the documentary - specifically the logistical work and emotions that arise from having a film made about your life.

“I found myself asking, what does one in a million mean?”
