It’s a wild statement to make, but Arkells were very much a band we needed in 2018. While the world is a dreary mess, Arkells are reminding a young generation how to dream big and smile into the face of heartache. You can envision people playing their music while getting ready in the bathroom, or in the car while driving to a party, and all of that fills frontman Max Kerman with joy. Max loves people, and on this episode of the podcast he talks to Ken Grand-Pierre about that love of humanity and why his band means so much to him.

“When you’re on a stage you’re now an entertainer, and I embrace that.”
