An essence of charm oozes out of Bryndon Cook. But beneath that charm is a soul with a lot to say, which is where his Starchild project comes in. With Starchild, we see Bryndon playing with sonics in a way that can only be described as expressive. The way he plays his guitar is as if it was an extension of his own body. This is beautifully apparent on his latest project, Language. Along with being musically interesting, it’s also his most revealing body of work from a lyrical standpoint. From relationships to the ever invasive nature of technology, to what it means to be a black person in America - it’s clear that Bryndon has a lot to say.

“Those are the songs that cause experiences to develop.”
