We like it when our creatives don’t allow doors to be shut upon them. Where many would view music as a wild pipe dream, Tabby Wakes simply sees it as her way of life. That approach has been applied to everything, including her latest release titled Over Night. Throughout the project, Tabby lets you into her colourful world, rapping at a pace that forces you to pay attention to every word. Within her songs, Tabby welcomes listeners to a colorful and imaginative world, but she also reminds listeners of some hard truths. Prior to making Over Night, she also founded a music studio in Port Chester, New York. On this episode of the podcast, Ken Grand-Pierre meets Tabby and talks about what it’s like to build a studio, craft a music career and bringing a project to life.

"It feels good to know that I can put music out."
