Nothing beats live music. When you enter a venue, all that matters is the act on stage and that connection you share with them and their performance. When you think about live shows that leave an imprint on you, Scotland’s We Were Promised Jetpacks swiftly come to mind. The band has cultivated a reputation for visceral live shows, where aggression and compassion mix.

They’re currently working on their fourth album, the follow up to their stellar album, Unraveling. Ken Grand-Pierre linked up with the band to discuss the process of working on a new album and how their live shows have become so special.

“We’re really excited about doing gigs again, it’s been a while since we had new songs to play.”
