It's possible to have your life stolen from you. And we live in a world where we all know this, but rarely discuss it openly. Zeke Thomas is aiming to change that, both with his art and by sharing his experiences.

One of those experiences is the sexual assault he experienced two years back. Men (both in the US and UK) rarely find themselves sharing harrowing experiences, especially if they happen to be gay or black. Zeke is both, and to have him be so open about his experience is something we don’t take lightly. At its essence, this series is about people coming into spaces and sharing their experiences as openly as possible. Ken Grand-Pierre talks with Zeke and goes into how his life changed after the assault, his journey into songwriting, and finding himself once more.

“Just asking someone how they’re doing, is a socially conscious act”
