Birds Need Feet presents Stockholm...

El-P – Lilla Hotellbaren // 4th October 2012

Brooklyn rapper EL-P has had a pretty good year so far; he released the excellent Cancer For Cure via Fat Possum in May as well as produced Killer Mike’s acclaimed R.A.P. Music. Great hip-hop acts coming to Stockholm aren’t that common outside of the stadium-sized ones, so this is something quite special. On Thursday EL-P is stopping by Lilla Hotellbaren in Stockholm, and it’s both at a small venue and 100% free. Compulsory attendance for any fan of hip-hop.

Gig Guide Turbowolf

Turbowolf - Corporation // 4th October 2012

Offering up the most fun gig of the week, if not the year, will be Bristol's psych-punk rockers Turbowolf on their first headline tour of the UK following on from last year's acclaimed debut full-length. Uniquely engaging, this should be nothing short of a classic rock and roll riot.

SBTRKT + Disclosure – O2 Academy // 3rd October 2012

He played the Thekla about this time last year, and it was a good night. Will be interesting to see if it works as well in a much bigger venue. Support comes from Disclosure, which is a nice added bonus.
