The 405 Gig Guide is back! Well…sort of. It seems bands don’t like to play much in the first few weeks of the year, which suits our week-long New Years hangovers, but doesn’t serve our Gig Guide very well. Below you’ll find some of the gigs we did manage to mind but we’d like to stress that in the coming weeks the weekly guide will be a lot plumper.
Photobucket Photobucket The Gentle Good - 10 Feet Tall // 11th January 2011 Part of the January Home Town Heroes festival in January, Cardiff’s Gareth Bonello plays his delicate folk songs at 10 Feet Tall, with intricate acoustic flitters and vocals in both English and Welsh. Support comes from the wonderfully weird Meilir, who combines experimental instrumentation, electro beats, acoustic guitar and piano to make his unusual take on folk music.
