Mountain View

Tell us about your new video.

It's the most fun we ever had making a video! We played the track to Dan (White, the director) and he straight away knew we wanted something a bit out of the box. We got some friends down to the studio to have a laugh and dressed up '70s style with a bit of Earth Wind and Fire, Haribos and vintage shades and just danced around all day in front of a green screen!

Callum, Max, Joe and Tunde were the best cause they totally got the feel of the song. At one point Tommy (pink dude at the end) decided to cover himself in glitter head to toes and came up with a this incredible choreography that is just the best thing ever!

Where do you find inspiration?

We love the dancing in old skool, Soul Train videos and the Deee-Lite - 'Groove Is In The Heart' video - is just so sick, definitely an inspiration! We go to a lot of disco and LGBT nights in London and wanted something that incorporated the colours and the fun we have when we're out for a dance!

What risk would you take if you knew you could not fail?

Travel to Mars to play a show!

When was the last time you tried something new?

At our regular Home Alone live DJ set (that we stream on Periscope twice a month on a Tuesday night - watch it guys!) I taped a mini disco ball to a broom pole and attempted to create the first ever portable party!

What are you currently working on?

We're working on our debut album coming out next year and we're so proud of it - we can't wait for everyone to hear it! We've been really lucky to work with some really incredible producers that understood how we didn't want our music to sound like anyone else's and that shared our love for funk, disco, dance and '80s pop.

What's the most challenging thing you've ever created?

EKKAH - but also the best one!

Which of your talents do you think people overlook?

Definitely people overlook how good Rebekah is at making this snack that's banana slices covered in peanut butter. And no one really knows how good I am at applying glitter with my eyes closed.

If you only had one year to live, how would you spend that time?

Playing live shows, every day, all day! It's definitely the most rewarding thing in the world playing and seeing fans in front of us having the best time. It's a connection you just can't top!

What's the worst thing you've ever seen on Netflix?

Could tell you the best thing - Stranger Things!
