This is special.

Austin's finest indie-electronica duo, NÄM, are currently following up on their excellent 2016 debut EP Umlaut with a series of new tracks - and we've got the jump on the latest one. It's a real stunner.

With the release of 'Face' - a song we're stupidly excited to premiere today - we thought it would be a good idea to find our more about their current ventures and inspirations, so we asked Sam Simmons a couple of questions through which we learned he'd like Emma Watson to play him in a movie about his life. Read on below.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

I do music a lot.

When was the last time you tried something new?

Two days ago Nora (the other half of NÄM) and I rented a couple microphones and did a blind test to see which one sounds the best on her voice. We bought the one we liked the most, and it was one of the lesser expensive mics! I never thought to do that before!

If a movie was made about your life, what actor/actress would play you and what would the film be called?

I'd want Emma Watson to play me. The film would be called Being Emma Watson Being Sam Simmons Being Emma Watson. It's a very meta film.

What is the worst thing your parents caught you doing as a kid?

I honestly can't think of anything. Maybe it was so horrible that I blocked it out of my memory? Or maybe I'm really good at not getting caught.

What inspires you?

Badass and risky creativity that makes people seem larger than life.

What did you dream about last night?

I have no recollection of any dreams.

Lastly, what are you currently working on?

I'm currently working on a bunch of new NÄM material with Nora, but I'm always doing that. I'm also mixing two songs by The Bishops (hip-hop from ATX).
