Wherever you are in the world: good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. It is time for your 5 a day.

One day, the UK government said, "You should eat 5 portions of fruit or veg[etables] per day." Turns out you should probably eat more than that. But we think it's pretty catchy, so we've hijacked it. Here we'll list FIVE pieces of music per DAY that we think you should check out. As the Italians say, we'll be catching two pigeons with one bean (prendere due piccioni con una fava): we help spread the word about MORE artists, plus we're giving YOU more music to listen to. It's all a joy for us, really!

Today we got some touching, heartbreaking piano and hard rollicking beats combination courtesy of lee (asano+ryuhei), a spot of aggressive juddering electro in 'Fear Party' by SEØUEL, spooky unnerving glittery sounds and dark rap from Daemon, then there's a crackly textured boom-bap-flavoured flip of Kool G Rap's 'Fast Life' featuring Nas by Baltimore-based beatmaker eu-IV, before we finish up with the bristling-shuffly beats and floating-faltering ambient sounds in BZ. KT's remix of 'Camelblues' by Mndsgn.

Watching a grey and breezy day outside through the window of quiet room

Industrial wasteland rave

Walking through an ancient, weirdly glowing cavern

Slow pan of a cityscape on a sunny afternoon

That woozy, squiffy, contented feeling that comes when you get drunk in the daytime
