Wherever you are in the world: good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. It is time for your 5 a day.

One day, the UK government said, "You should eat 5 portions of fruit or veg[etables] per day." Turns out you should probably eat more than that. But we think it's pretty catchy, so we've hijacked it. Here we'll list FIVE pieces of music per DAY that we think you should check out. As the Italians say, we'll be catching two pigeons with one bean (prendere due piccioni con una fava): we help spread the word about MORE artists, plus we're giving YOU more music to listen to. It's all a joy for us, really!

Oh, look, here we are again: together, thinking about music. Today's proceedings kick off with 'Coachella' by Dumbfoundead, a hazy and bumpin' out-of-body experience, followed by a gentle dose of sun-warped chill and rattling beats by Hundo, called 'Go'. Then we're left with duo X&G – who take us on an experimental, unexpected journey of tongue-tingling beats-and-percussion, far-off voidsome flavours, and glitch-bubbling synthetics in 'Mancha' – and Luminate with 'Shadowtricks', an inventive buffet of soft ambience, sampling and clattering subtly ornamented beats. The finale is 'Sugar' by Airia, a slice of coastline-beachside tropico-electronica.

Dazed in a field and the sun's really hot and you're supposed to be with your friends but uhh where are you?

Floating down a stream, maybe you're in a dream, maybe you're awake – what's the diff?

The kind of feeling of a pinball rattling inside an '80s PC… whilst floating in space? Maybe.

Lost in a rainforest with your own troublesome thoughts. Totally lost. But happily in awe, too.

Imagining the feeling of taking a plane to a tropical island somewhere.
