You have to love it when artists debunk the myth of the difficult second album. Nick Mulvey’s newest album, Wake Up Now, couldn’t sound fresher. It’s an album where you can tell he knew exactly what he wanted to say. Songs such as 'Unconditional', 'Myela', and 'Mountain to Move' showcase his incredible growth, and to see the songs come to life on stage is an experience to behold.

For the latest edition of the 405 Exchange podcast, Ken Grand-Pierre spoke to Nick about the experience of being onboard the Millennium Falcon, how having a child inspired him creatively, writing about the refugee crisis, and the importance of staying true to one’s craft. Check out their conversation below.

“True collaboration will never dilute my expression. It will only embellish or expand, or complement.”
