You know these guys, and you most likely have banged your head to them at some point. And who can blame you? Sometimes, you just need to put on something loud and direct; something that tunes out the outside world. For those moments, it’s refreshing to sink into the loud foot stomping tunes of Brighton’s Royal Blood. They’ve dominated the country and are winning fans all over the world, most recently in the states as they toured with Queens of the Stone Age. Ever since they’ve hit the scene they’ve notched off goals left and right, most recently playing to a crowded Madison Square Garden in New York.

For the latest edition of the 405 Exchange podcast, Ken Grand-Pierre spoke to the duo about making an album in Belgium, touring with Queens of the Stone Age, staying true to their sound, and not overthinking the big things. Check out their conversation below.

“You can’t go on tour with Queens of the Stone Age and think you’re the best at anything.”
