Creating and performing three distinctly different albums isn’t an easy task, and yet San Fermin have made it look simple. Band leader, Ellis Ludwig-Leone, writes/composes the music and the members of San Fermin bring his world to life. With the band’s third record, Belong, the musicians naturally became more part of the process, contributing not just their skills but also their distinct personalities as musicians. They know their strengths as individuals, and with that, also know their strengths as a unit.

Ken Grand-Pierre spoke to the band about why evolution is crucial to the band's existence, writing songs with emotions in mind, and how album number three was built for live shows. Check out their conversation below.

“Our live show is better than it’s ever been.”
