SIVU is the moniker of James Page - a singer-songwriter who aims higher than most. His music spurs curiosity, and with his songs, you can hear a man who doesn’t want to pigeonholed on any level. His latest offering, Sweet Sweet Silent, showcases his ability to explore new sounds in a grand way. It also showcases a man being direct with his struggles, such as Page’s battle with Ménière's disease while making the album.

Ken Grand-Pierre spoke to Page about discovering his diagnosis of Ménière's disease and living with it, how Sweet Sweet Silent came to be, the cathartic feeling of living outside of London, and the sonic palette of Sweet Sweet Silent. Check out their conversation below.

“There were lots of points where I didn’t even think I’d make another record.”
