Sometimes I look at the state of music these days and I honestly think It's healthy. Some great bands came out in 2008 as well as some amazing albums. On the other hand, theres millions of signed bands out there that should be working behind a fast food counter rather than actually releasing music into the world. So when you come across a band like For A Minor Reflection, who are unsigned and relatively unknown, it makes me feel sad that even with the amount of talent they have, they still get overlooked for the Glasvegas' of this world. Ok, so it seems to be a bit of a cliche these days if you come from Iceland and make post-rock music but I implore you to give this band a chance. We reviewed their album Reistu þig við, sólin er komin á loft... late last year and it scored very highly amongst the writers on the site. So, in traditional 405 style, here's a video for you! It's for the fantastic song 'Kastljos'. Remember to look out for our interview with the band next week and also make sure you check them out at Listen: MP3: For A Minor Reflection - Óhljóð
