It has been 10 years since the release of Hospice, the stirring and heartbreaking concept album from New York indie outfit The Antlers. To commemorate the occasion, the band is returning from its self-imposed hiatus to release a beautiful double white vinyl re-issue of their celebrated album and go on tour, playing the entire album in a series of acoustic shows throughout the U.S. and Europe.

The reissue will be released on March 8 via Frenchkiss Records and Transgressive Records. The album will feature "deluxe artwork and packaging courtesy of the album’s original artist, Zan Goodman."

In announcing this new pressing of Hospice, The Antlers also revealed that long-time multi-instrumentalist Darby Cicci, who joined the band around the time of Hospice's recording, is no longer with the band. No further details were provided. The tour will consist of vocalist/guitar Peter Silberman, drummer Michael Lerner and "some old friends and guests."
