The famous bridge featured in Red Hot Chili Pepper's 'Under The Bridge' has finally been discovered. After remaining a mystery for over 20 years, writer Mark Haskell Smith tracked the bridge to Los Angeles.

On his find Smith explains, "this must be the bridge in the song, it links Sixth and Union, (the intersection Kiedis claims he was walking towards) [in his autobiography]. With the drug dealers at Seventh and Hoover. And, unlike the other bridges, it provides a discreet location for private time with personal demons."

In related news, a search party is still trying to find where the band's songwriting skills were last left. More news on that when we have it. [NME]
