At last! LA's brightest star Joni Payne has finally released her debut EP and judging by the title, she's in this for the long haul. Titled more to do, the EP also includes an accompanying short music film, directed by Brendan Calder, Tom MacVicar and Joni herself.

The EP is a cohesive effort, continuing much of the work that earlier singles like 'Contemporary Love' initially started. Her smooth, restrained vocal stands centre stage in the middle of a field of alt-R&B productions for a collection that's worthy of the title of one of the best debuts of the year. Speaking to Nakid Magazine, Joni said "It's a passion project about the transition from feeling stuck in the midst of lost love and memories, into letting go and discovering "sure it was comfortable, floating, going nowhere with you, but there's so much more to do."

The stunning more to do EP is streaming on Spotify, SoundCloud and all good digital platforms. You can watch the short film - divided into two parts - below.
