In a project that at first glance may sound like the losing end of a late night back stage, Jonny Pierce (The Drums) has teamed up with Boy George, Mark Ronson and Alison Mosshart in of all things, a ballet.

Choreographed by Wayne McGregor the ballet is called Carbon Life and is set to nine tracks performed by the selection of unlikely stars who are also joined by rappers Wale and Black Cobain. The music was written by Ronson and Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, with the project being orchestrated by Rufus Wainwright.

Tickets start at just £3 for what sounds like an entertaining and interesting evening. The ballet opens on April 5th on a six date run. Head here for more details and tickets.
