Iceland Airwaves 2016 has confirmed that their first round of acts will include PJ Harvey, Julia Holter and múm with Kronos Quartet, who will perform in Reykjavík's old airplane hangar from November 2-6, at the northern festival that has become one of the premier annual showcases for new music. While PJ Harvey will perform at the closing party at Valsheimilið, (there will be no separate tickets available and festival ticket holders will be admitted on a first come first served basis,) múm with Kronos Quartet will offer separate tickets to their Eldborg, Harpa show on November 4, (which will be handed out on Nov 3 at the Media Center.)

Joining them are a wealth of Icelandic acts, which includes Axel Flóvent, GKR, Mammút, Reykjavíkurdætur, Mr.Silla and Sturla Atlas.
