Yesterday we brought you news of The Flaming Lips special Valentines venture of a USB stick encased in "cardiac confectionary" and today the psych-pop rockers are bringing us roses... Stone Roses to be exact.

Last year the band joined forces with some of their contemporaries including New Fumes, Stardeath and White Dwarfs to remake King Crimson's In The Court Of The Crimson King while promising similar projects to follow. It now seems that The Stone Roses seminal self titled debut is the latest classic to get a makeover from Coyne and Co.

Footage (below) has surfaced of HOTT MT, New Fumes and Stardeth recording versions of 'I Am The Resurrection', 'Bye Bye Badman' and 'I Want To Be Adored'. In addition, an instagram photo posted by Wayne Coyne suggests Policia's Channy Leaneagh is collaborating with him on a cover of 'She Bangs The Drums'.
