The Killers have revealed details of their forthcoming album. Battle Born is expected this Autumn and frontman Brandon Flowers told Rolling Stone how they have named the album after the nickname they have for their studio, saying "In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better."

This will be the Las Vegas quintet's fourth studio album and collaborators include Stuart Price, Damien Taylor, Brendan O’Brien and Steve Lillywhite. It's been four years since the bands last record Day and Age and drummer, Ronnie Vanucci said "It's living up to its title. This is our difficult fourth record." Despite that however, 'Heart of a Girl', 'Flesh and Bone', 'Runaways' and 'Carry Me Home' all being confirmed as tracks on the new album.
