A few days ago, a letter found in Kurt Cobain's wallet was released by Seattle police, and it's fair to say it caused a bit of a stir. For those of you that missed it, it said: "Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawfully shredded wife even when she's a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring…"

"Grab the pitchforks! Throw Love in jail! She's a Killer!" etc etc.

Well, according to according to Mark Yam - who wrote Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge - the letter was actually written by Love. However, Hank Harrison (her dad!) still thinks she had a part to play in his death. "No doubt she was capable," Harrison tells RadarOnline. I can't prove she pulled the trigger, but I can prove her involvement to a high degree of certainty."

In totally unrelated news, Harrison's new book Love Kills: The Assassination of Kurt Cobain, is out soon.
