In case you hadn’t noticed, the worlds biggest sporting event comes to town this summer and the line up has been announced for the BT Live Opening Ceremony Celebration Concert (try saying that three times fast). All across the capitals royal parks, The Mayor of London has organised areas large screens for the public to enjoy the Olympics. As well as a host of games related activities the scheme will be kicked off with an opening ceremony featuring acts from all four corners of Great Britain, Duran Duran (England), Snow Patrol (Ireland), Stereophonics (Wales) and Paulo Nutini (Scotland).

Held in Hyde park on July 27th the event is a ticket only occasion which can be purchased via btlondonlive.com - however access on other days is completely free to watch the games and take part in any of the activities.
