It was last year that Damon Albarn shared that work had begun on the new Gorillaz album. Artist Jamie Hewlett confirmed that the follow-up to 2010's The Fall would be delivered sometime this year. But they jumped the gun. Now, a Gorillaz fan who ran into Jamie has reported that the project won't be here until 2017. "JAMIE says new GORILLAZ is special, really fuckin special. Can't be rushed," an Instagram caption read. "2017, yo. Fuck. So, guys, that Gorilla Fund, we got time. Go shop, take vacation, that shit aint happening this year. BUT its gonna be all that and more."
