Wowza! The first week of 2010 went really fast didn't it? Anyway, let's crack on with some news... White Hinterland will be releasing a new album on the 8th of March called Kairos. Alessi’s Ark, one of our favourite people of 2009, will be going on 3 tours of the UK and Ireland this Spring, alongside Sons of Noel and Adrian, Rachael Dadd, and concluding as main support to Laura Marling in April. British singer-songwriter Alessi Laurent-Marke AKA Alessi’s Ark, will perform 32 dates commencing at Cyprus Avenue in Cork on the 13th January with support from Sons of Noel and Adrian, and culminating in a night at The London Palladium on the 25th April with Laura Marling. Alessi’s Ark is currently putting the finishing touches to new recordings, due for release in 2010. Her debut album ‘Notes From The Treehouse’, was released in 2009 and produced by Bright Eyes’ guitarist Mike Mogis in Omaha, Nebraska. The band have also released a video for 'Everything Falling Apart', a track from their forthcoming debut album, directed by Yoshi Sodeoka.
