The Paper Hats are lovely. This is heartfelt stuff from Tennessee born William Tyler; imagine soulful steel-string twangs, contemplative cadences, beautiful usage of bluegrass harmonies and, apparently, Appalachian melodies! He'll be playing Cafe Oto this Friday the 23rd along with musical partner on his European '09 tour Volker Zander (Calexico, Apparent Extent) on Violoncello and Höfner bass. This promises to be an intimate, beautiful little gig of the kind I am personally very fond. Tickets are £6 and you can buy tickets here. We suggest you do!.
