M.I.A's 'Borders' video has stirred up some unwanted attention. The Paris Saint-Germain football team has threatened to take legal action against M.I.A. following what they've referred to as an "unpleasant surprise" when the artist wore their altered jersey in her incredible video for 'Borders.'

During the video, M.I.A sports the Paris Saint-Germain top with team sponsor Fly Emirates' logo altered to read 'Fly Pirates,' throughout the visuals that openly criticise the treatment of refugees during the ongoing crisis in Europe.

In the letter that M.I.A has posted on her Twitter, the French team have taken offense and are threatening legal action "We consider that the use of our brand and image in the video clip denouncing the treatment of refugees is a source of discredit to our club and distorts our public communication policy," writes Jean Claude Blanc, deputy CEO of PSG.

They've demanded that M.I.A. remove all traces of the video and "compensate us for the harm we have suffered" within the next 24 hours.
