Last year, The Replacements guitarist Slim Dunlap suffered a significant stroke, and has been struggling to pay off his medical expenses. After the incident, it was announced that the band would reunite for a tribute album with benefits going to Dunlap.

Several months later and several details of the release are seeing the light of day. The 10” EP Songs for Slim will feature Dunlap’s solo track ‘Busted Up', Gordon Lightfoot's hit ‘I’m Not Sayin’', Hank Williams’ cover ‘Lost Highway’, and more.

It’s the first time members of the band have joined up since 2006, and they've also launched a new Facebook page for the effort. 250 copies of the EP will be available in an upcoming auction.
