Here's some good news for all you Smiths fans out there; to celebrate the band's self-titled debut album's 30th anniversary, iTunes has remastered their back catalogue and made it available as part of the Mastered for iTunes series. This basically means that all four studio albums (The Smiths, Meat Is Murder, The Queen Is Dead and Strangeways, Here We Come), alongside with live releases and compilations, will be sounding better than never (when we talk about digital formatting, of course).

In the meanwhile, Morrissey has had some busy months: set to release 2009's Years of Refusal later this year, he has published his autobiography last October and made a few controversial remarks including comparing eating animals to paedophilia.
